Frequently Asked Questions about Shymow
Shymow designs and manages knowledge infrastructure for AI systems. It also maintains capabilities in SEO, GEO, web development and WordPress operations for specific needs.
Here we explain what each route solves, what can be contracted and where to find more information, without turning one part of our work into the complete definition of the company.
Find the right route

Shymow is a company specializing in knowledge infrastructure for AI systems. It helps reduce the gap between what an organization knows, what it expresses publicly and what people, search engines, software, agents and AI models can interpret from its sources.
Depending on the origin of the problem, the work may include audit, information architecture, knowledge modelling, entities, SEO, structured data, web development, measurement, automation, validation or governed systems. Not every case needs the same depth.
Shymow is not a generalist agency with a catalogue of identical campaigns for everyone. It maintains deep capability in SEO, GEO, search, web development and WordPress operations, but these disciplines are part of a broader scope.
If you arrived looking for an SEO agency or a digital marketing company, we can assess whether that kind of intervention genuinely solves the problem. That commercial route does not by itself define everything Shymow can build, connect and govern.
No. The commercial pages show the routes that can currently be contracted or assessed. The capability map also includes knowledge, entities, evidence, relationships, data, measurement, automation, validation, operations and proprietary technology.
Some capabilities are offered as specific services. Others are integrated into audits, implementations, managed systems or complex projects. The commercial availability of a capability does not determine whether that capability is part of Shymow.
With both. A company's size does not by itself determine the depth of the problem. An SME may have complex knowledge spread across people, pages and tools. A large organization may only need to correct one specific surface.
The scope is defined by the problem, the sources involved, markets, languages, participants and the risk that information may be lost, contradicted or interpreted incorrectly.
Knowledge infrastructure and proprietary technology
It is the layer that makes it possible to define what knowledge exists, what each object or concept means, which source supports it, which version is current, how it relates to other pieces and under what conditions it can be reused.
It is not a document folder or a collection of content. Its role is to preserve identity, context, provenance, limits and traceability when knowledge changes page, language, application, team or AI system.
SEO works mainly on discovery, crawling, indexing, relevance and visibility in search engines. GEO studies and improves the conditions that allow generative systems to select, interpret and use information when constructing answers.
Knowledge infrastructure acts on the foundation that feeds those surfaces. It defines which information is canonical, how it relates, what evidence supports it, which limits it must preserve and how it should evolve. The three layers can work together. None automatically replaces the others.
Yes. Part of Shymow's capabilities relies on proprietary technology, systems and assets developed to model, govern, relate, verify and project knowledge.
We explain publicly what they are useful for and what scope they have within each project. The internal architecture and proprietary logic remain protected. Technology is not presented as a generic tool that replaces strategy, human validation or implementation.
Choosing a starting point
When the problem has not yet been defined, the recommended starting point is a diagnostic. It makes it possible to check where the mismatch occurs and avoid an implementation based on assumptions.
If the need is already clearly defined as SEO, web development or WordPress maintenance, we can assess it directly. If it concerns distributed knowledge, contradictions between sources, versions, entities or reuse by AI systems, it may require a broader architecture.
You should assess SEO when the main problem lies in organic discovery, indexing, search architecture or the ability to capture demand.
You should assess AI visibility when search engines and assistants omit, reduce, confuse or represent your company incorrectly and you want to compare those answers with verifiable sources.
You need a web intervention when the public, technical, functional or editorial foundation prevents the business from being expressed and operated correctly.
You need knowledge infrastructure when information is dispersed across pages, documents, teams, versions or systems and the organization cannot clearly determine what is current, what each element means and how it should be reused.
Some projects combine several layers. The diagnostic should locate the origin before the solution is decided.
Yes. We can separate diagnostic and execution when the project needs it, or work across the complete chain of audit, architecture, prioritization, implementation, validation and a new check.
An audit does not automatically include applying its recommendations. Each phase must have its scope, dependencies, price and closing criterion defined in writing.
No. SEO, web development, WordPress maintenance and knowledge infrastructure each have their own assessment.
When an AI visibility implementation depends on a previously analysed problem, that problem must be defined before implementation. This does not mean every company must buy the same diagnostic or pay twice for an analysis that already exists and is sufficient.
SEO, web development and WordPress
Yes, under specific scopes and conditions. Some projects need only a focused SEO, web development or maintenance intervention. Others incorporate these capabilities into a broader architecture.
Shymow works with a limited number of new projects and does not turn these lines into a generalist catalogue. Availability may vary without altering the company's technical and strategic capability.
WordPress is one of our main implementation environments and we have deep capability in its architecture, development, maintenance and operations.
Knowledge engineering, entities, governance, measurement, validation and preparation for AI systems are not conceptually dependent on a single CMS. When a project uses another environment, we assess its architecture, access and the real possibilities for integration.
Scope, guarantees and contracting
No. Shymow does not control the answers, rankings, sources or decisions of Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or other external providers.
It can analyse a dated sample, compare the available information, correct problems within the agreed scope, improve the sources and representations controlled by the organization, and check what has been implemented. A structural improvement is not presented as a guarantee about the future behaviour of an external platform.
They depend on the problem, the number and type of sources, the pages or systems involved, markets, languages, participants, technical complexity and the depth required for audit, implementation, validation or follow-up.
Routes with published prices can be consulted on the pricing page. When a case requires its own assessment, Shymow defines the scope, exclusions, dependencies, price and closing criterion in writing before any paid work begins.
We need a brief explanation of what is happening, the website or surfaces involved, what you have tried, the outcome you need, the relevant markets or languages and any technical or commercial limitation you already know about.
You do not need to prepare a perfect diagnostic before getting in touch. If a necessary detail is missing to decide the right route, we will ask for it specifically before proposing work.
Do you still not know which route fits?
You do not need to decide on your own whether the problem belongs to SEO, the web, AI visibility or knowledge infrastructure.
Tell us what you are observing and what you need to solve. If the problem is not yet defined, we will tell you which diagnostic makes sense. If it is already clear, we can assess the appropriate intervention directly without forcing an unnecessary route.
